Supplier Quality Engineer
Role Overview
The Supplier Quality Engineer shall provide quality support to production operations, ensuring the integrity of components and products purchased from sub suppliers meet engineering requirements.
The individual will aggressively drive quality improvements, ensure company standards are adhered to, and organizational goals for achieving “zero defect” performance are met.
The individual will foster cross functional support to implement process improvements and problem-solving efforts for the supply base, to focus on protecting and improving incoming product quality.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- AND QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications)
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; and a combination of two years Manufacturing Engineering / Quality Assurance experience in the automotive industry.
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of advanced quality planning, inspection equipment and techniques, root cause failure analysis, capability studies, statistical distributions, machine and assembly processes, problem solving, team facilitation and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Knowledge of TS16949 required.
- Experience with Supplier Development a plus.
- Experience with report writing in Microsoft Word and graphical analysis in Minitab strongly preferred.

- Salary Range: $107,000.00 to $161,400.00
