Supplier Quality Control Analyst (Virginia)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Interpret part descriptions and purchase order data to determine requirements.
• Select inspection plans and perform and define hardware inspections.
• Analyze specifications and certifications for conformity.
• Develop and execute inspection plans and quality procedures.
• Communicate technical details with engineering, inspection teams, and external suppliers.
• Identify and resolve emerging quality issues.

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, quality analysis, material inspection, or operations.
• Experience interpreting contractual requirements, manufacturing drawings, and military or commercial specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
• Ability to travel 50–75% based on business needs.

Preferred qualifications

• Technical trade school certification, diploma, or associate's degree.
• Previous experience with manufacturing resources and planning databases, such as Microsoft Projects.
• Inspection proficiency in mechanical, electrical, materials, or valves disciplines.
