Duties

  • Provides specialized management advice and assistance to supported customers regarding complex financing, budgeting concepts, principles, and practices.
  • Serves as the final technical authority on finance analytic issues.
  • Responsible for supervising a work unit performing enterprise level mission essential activities which facilitate the mission of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service.
  • Plans, formulates, and designs financial policies and procedures to enhance the validity, accuracy, and integrity of core processes.
  • Provides specialized knowledge in finance concepts, principles, practices, techniques, and systems.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates financial management indicators to assess the overall efficiency of operations.
