Supervisor - Security

Overview

• Day to day supervision of the administration and implementation of all Security Measures at their duty location in accordance with the Government Approved Security Plan, AD Ports Group – Corporate Authority Security Management System, and other legal requirements.
• Responsibilities: All incidents occurring at the branch operations filed to be informed to the management and a database to be prepared for daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• As required and in coordination to manage administrative and Operations issues related to (Manpower forecasting for entire ops, Monthly Duty Roster, Daily Manpower Reports, Manpower arrangements for events, Contractual strength Management, OD Reliever, Annual Leave Reliever Management Employment and proper utilization of personnel, Monthly Invoice Information, Monthly Employee Timesheet, Management Special Event)
• Assisting the management in organizing, planning and implementing strategy
• Develop a security operations plan to support all projects and activities within AD Ports.
• Conduct business analysis and assessment where needed to expand the operation of the organization to ensure its growth
• Control over the quality of security services provided under the existing contracts.
• Contribute to investigations of property loss, thefts and criminal activities.
• Coordinate all emergency/crisis management assets providing a timely and coherent response to incidents as they arise at the client’s locations
• Daily Operations briefings for security staff and ensuring that all Security Task Force training records are kept up to date.
• Develop a working relationship with personnel and a comprehensive working knowledge of our clients Security system.
• Ensure fulfillment of obligations under the existing contracts on the part of Security employees.
• Ensuring all Security Task Force conduct themselves in accordance with agreed Job Descriptions, Security Work Instructions, Security Post Orders and all instructions issued by the Manager or NISHAN Security Services.
• Ensuring all Security Task Force reports are filed using the correct reporting format in accordance with security work instructions and the security management system.
• Ensuring security and regulatory compliance with all International, Federal and Abu Dhabi security requirements, standards and initiatives to which AD Ports subscribes.
• Establish a concrete course of action for their implementation and review.
• Implement all processes and procedures in line with Security Plan, Security Management System, Security standards and compliance with all legal requirements.
• In a daily basis movement of all movements of personnel within the respective branch to be updated (and to comply with all guidelines).
• Liaise with external security companies and stakeholders all related matters concerning the operation management of the activities and services provided by the organization.
• Liaise with NSI/PSBD coordinators to ensure that all relevant information is disseminated in a timely manner to the appropriate security personnel under his management
• Liaise with the Training Dept. to ensure that training procedures and policies are implemented within the company to an acceptable standard.
• Maintain and conduct routine checkup of sites, analyzed failures.
• Maintain close links with Logistics, Operations and other key stakeholders to ensure that all locations are implemented with the highest degree of staff safety and security.
• Monitor performance of security units of the Company.
• Organize and conduct training and motivate the subordinate security Personnel.
• Prepare overall security plans and manage security operations of organization, including assignments and staffing.
• Organize security personnel work by way of distributing responsibilities and rights between the Company Security Departments' Heads.
• Provide additional operational support and guidance to the ground security teams as required
• Provide timely reports to the Company Management.
• Reporting immediately to concern any incidents and.
• Responsible for enhancing the Incident Management Processes and identifying Gaps
• responsible for Patrolling all Posts, Locations under your responsibility and completing duty Log.
• Responsible for producing the security shift roster, while ensuring that all shift changes are accurately recorded in the appropriate logs and signed after approval by concerned, including time and attendance as per the shift schedule and reporting any absence without reasonable excuse, and their Leave Management
• Task and guide security teams and personnel to conduct security assessments and threat analysis as required, and where necessary provide feedback on proposed mitigation strategies for the Branch Manager Assist BM/Mob Sup/ Location Sup in the design and implementation of site/location related security strategies, security policies/standards and establish a concrete course of action for their implementation and review.
• Timesheet management (Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports for clients, Weekly/ Monthly Sales Reports, Daily/ Monthly Floating Reports, Mob Sups Site Visits Report, Employee Salary Dispute management and mitigations.)
• To liaise and coordinate with all Gov’t Security Agencies and relevant Ministries
• To Manage the Contracted Security Service Providers.
• To supervise the day-to-day operations of the Security Task Force ensuring that staff meet the competency levels as per their job descriptions and the requirements of the approved Security Plan and AD Ports Group – Security Management System.
