Role Overview

Operational Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, work instructions, health and safety requirements, quality management requirements, and legal regulations.
• Ensure pest control services meet company procedures and customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with customer site rules, contractor requirements, and applicable permit-to-work systems.
• Review inspection records, service documentation, and required operational records for accuracy and completeness.

Safety Responsibilities

• Promote a strong health and safety culture and lead by example.
• Verify that technicians use required personal protective equipment correctly and keep it in good condition.
• Oversee safe handling, transportation, storage, and disposal of pesticides and related materials.
• Ensure safe work practices for work at heights, confined spaces, and operational industrial environments where applicable.
• Review risk assessments, method statements, permits, and safety requirements before work begins.
• Conduct safety inspections and observations and investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, and safety concerns.

Technical and Equipment Duties

• Supervise pesticide, rodenticide, fumigant, and non-chemical control applications according to approved procedures and product label instructions.
• Oversee the maintenance and operational readiness of company vehicles, application equipment, and tools.
• Monitor chemical handling, storage, transportation, and disposal for compliance with procedures and regulations.
• Promote required health and safety training and comply with company and legal driving safety regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum high school education, with up to a college degree in any field; company training is provided.
• Three to five years of experience handling and leading teams in a pest control company.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Successful completion of the Health and Safety Onboarding Training Course.
• Valid driving license for employees assigned driving duties.
