Role details

Security and incident response

• Patrol hotel areas, assist guests with room access, conduct emergency drills, and perform daily physical-safety inspections.
• Investigate incidents, interview people, audit key control, monitor CCTV and alarms, and control and document access to secured areas.
• Respond to accidents, contact emergency medical services, or provide first aid or CPR as needed.
• Gather information and complete reports; keep reports and documents confidential and share information only with authorized people.
• Manage disturbances, safety risks, interruptions, and complaints; escort unwanted individuals from the hotel and follow alcohol-control laws.
• Request assistance using appropriate response codes and provide required paperwork to employees.

Team, policy, and property duties

• Assist management with employee training, motivation, and coaching; support the company's fair-treatment and open-door process.
• Follow company security policies, report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, and injuries, and complete safety training and certifications.
• Protect company information and property, support colleagues, meet quality standards, and maintain professional appearance and conduct.
• Welcome guests, communicate professionally, respond appropriately to employee concerns, remain alert to suspicious persons, and perform other reasonable assigned duties.

Desirable qualifications

• A secondary-school diploma or GED equivalent is desirable.
• At least 2 years of related work experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience are desirable.
• No license or certification is specified.
