Banquet operations and team coordination

• Coordinate staff and communicate with guests, colleagues, and departments to meet guest needs.
• Arrange special event requirements and set up banquet areas, furniture, and equipment; inspect table layouts for cleanliness and group requirements.
• Document relevant information in departmental records.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, coaching, discipline, motivation, and staff development.
• Maintain positive working relationships and support shared team goals.

Service, safety, and workplace standards

• Inspect staff grooming and attire and correct deficiencies; welcome guests and communicate professionally.
• Follow safety and quality procedures, report maintenance concerns, hazards, accidents, and injuries, and complete safety training and certifications.
• Protect company property and private information, and treat colleagues with dignity and respect.
• The role involves prolonged standing, sitting, or walking; lifting and moving objects; reaching, bending, and working on uneven or slippery surfaces and stairs.

Desired qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED-equivalent certificate is desired.
• At least one year of related work experience and one year of supervisory experience are desired.
• No license or certification is listed as required.
