SUPERVISOR - ACCOUNTS

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure accurate recording and maintenance of all accounting transactions in line with company policies and accounting standards.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and settlement follow-ups.
• Manage general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Handle VAT calculations, reporting, and submissions in coordination with relevant authorities.
• Supervise ERP (Oracle) operations, including system controls, data accuracy, and audit support.
• Manage accounting for inventories, fixed assets, and capital expenditures.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and financial performance analysis.
• Coordinate tax-related activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Review and support contract-related financial transactions and expenditure verification.
• Lead and supervise accounting staff, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Prepare periodic financial and management reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and internal control procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification such as

Ca / Cpa / Acca

• is mandatory.
• Minimum
• 12+ years of experience
• in accounting functions.
• At least
• 5+ years in a supervisory role

• **GCC experience in Oil & Gas sector is mandatory**

Oracle ERP
