Role overview

Location and working arrangements

• The role is based at the Great Baddow site and expects attendance 3–5 days per week within hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

Salary

Core duties

• Contribute across the engineering lifecycle, including client work, hardware design, and manufacture.
• Implement complex signal-processing algorithms in VHDL.
• Design switch-mode power supplies, work on low-power embedded systems, and develop ruggedized devices for challenging environments.
• Assist colleagues in pitching ideas to clients.
• Manage multiple assignments independently with colleague support.
• Conduct research, data collection, and analysis.

Qualification requirements

• Have obtained or be predicted to obtain at least a 2:2 in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.

Internship dates

• The internship starts 21 June 2027 and lasts 12 weeks, ending 10 September 2027.
