SUE Tech II

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in the SUE industry.
• Ability to work independently, and as part of a diverse team.
• Willing to learn, analytical, detail oriented, goal driven, problem solver, self-lead.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Partial ability and willing to learn how to use EM and GPR locating equipment.
• Familiar with operation vacuum excavation equipment.
• Willing to work with vacuum excavation equipment.
• Partial ability and willing to learn to read utility as-built/schematic records.
• Ability to operate or willing to learn operation of survey equipment (conventional and GPS).
• Ability to traverse terrain, as project dictates, in all seasons.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs or work as a team to do so.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• Be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening.
• Able to work occasional overtime as project timeline dictates.
• Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
• Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
