Student Placement Coordinator

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop IT employer relationships to secure internship and job opportunities.
• Coordinate campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and student networking events.
• Support resume writing, interview preparation, career development, and individual career counseling.
• Track student progress and employment outcomes in placement databases.
• Work with academic departments to align opportunities with curriculum requirements.
• Ensure placement and internship compliance, gather employer feedback, and promote career resources.

Requirements

• 0–2 years in career services, student advising, recruitment, or IT industry liaison work.
• Strong IT job market knowledge, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with university or college administration and employer partnership building.

Qualifications

• Any graduate qualification and good English communication skills.
• Basic programming, database, or cloud platform knowledge is a plus.

Pay and benefits

• Pay is ₹15,000–₹18,000 per month.
• Benefits include cell phone reimbursement, internet reimbursement, leave encashment, and paid sick time.
