Student Assistant - COM Educational Affairs - Technology Focused (Conroe)

As an Information Technology Student Assistant in the College of Osteopathic Medicine, you will support the Academic Technology team and Educational in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing technology systems that enhance teaching, learning, and daily operations.

This role provides hands-on experience with enterprise academic technologies, classroom support, and user assistance for faculty, staff, and students.

You will assist with tasks such as basic technical support, equipment setup, software troubleshooting, and documentation of processes and guides.

This position may also support learning platforms, classroom technologies, and emerging tools used across the college.

The preferred candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with a strong interest in technology and customer support.

We are looking for someone who can work independently, communicate effectively with a variety of users, and demonstrate a strong professional drive and commitment to supporting the SHSU-COM mission.

This is a fast-paced, service-oriented role that may involve daily technical requests and varied responsibilities.
