Position Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and execution-focused

Structured Finance & Asset Monetization Associate

with 4 to 5 years of specialized experience.

In this role, you will be the backbone of our financial structuring operations.

You will manage the technical vetting, compliance, and monetization of institutional banking instruments (SBLCs, BGs, LCs), coordinate high-yield debenture/debt trades, and model how these liquidated vehicles integrate into our broader project finance pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Instrument Vetting & Analysis:**
  • Review and audit the precise verbiage of incoming financial instruments (Standby Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Medium-Term Notes) to ensure full compliance with ICC standards (

  • **SWIFT & Transaction Logistics:**
  • Track and facilitate bank-to-bank SWIFT message sequencing (

  • ) for instrument verification, blocking, and monetization.
  • **Financial & LTV Modeling:**
  • Build advanced financial models to analyze Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratios, trade arbitrage margins, and tranche distribution schedules.
  • **Project Finance Integration:**
  • Align the cash flows generated from asset monetization with the capital drawdown schedules of our active project portfolios.
  • **Compliance & Due Diligence:**
  • Own the
  • KYC, AML, and Source of Funds (SOF)
  • onboarding documentation to ensure flawless clearing through international funding banks and escrow agents.
  • **Stakeholder Coordination:**
  • Interface professionally with bank trade desks, legal paymasters, and compliance officers to clear operational bottlenecks.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • **Experience:**
  • 4–5 years of direct experience in Trade Finance, Structured Finance, Debt Capital Markets (DCM), or Treasury Operations within an international bank or boutique project finance firm.
  • **Technical Knowledge:**
  • Flawless understanding of SWIFT messaging ($MT799$, $MT760$, $MT103$), international banking mechanics, and collateral-based lending.
  • **Regulatory Familiarity:**
  • Solid grasp of international financial compliance, anti-money laundering frameworks, and ICC rules.
  • **Software Skills:**
  • Advanced Excel wizardry (financial modeling, cash flow forecasting).
  • Bloomberg Terminal experience is a strong plus.
  • **Education:**
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related quantitative field.

  • **Location/Mobility:**
  • Currently based in the UAE with familiarity navigating the Dubai/Abu Dhabi financial landscapes (DIFC, ADGM, Central Bank regulations), or looking to immediately relocate.
