Structural Inspector (Site Supervision)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Inspect structural work through construction phases for compliance with approved plans and building codes.
• Supervise site activities and monitor contractor performance for safety and quality.
• Document findings, prepare detailed reports, and maintain site records.
• Identify deficiencies, hazards, and non-compliance; communicate findings and coordinate corrective actions.
• Verify structural materials, workmanship, and installation procedures.
• Check concrete, steel, and other structural elements for quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, local safety requirements, and project standards.
• Prepare progress reports, organize documentation, and guide site teams on inspection procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven construction-industry experience in structural inspection and site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and structural engineering principles.
• Proficiency in inspection reports and technical documentation.
• Understanding of construction methodologies and building safety standards.
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with diverse teams.

Workplace and onboarding

• The role involves on-site construction supervision and inspections.
