Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Structural Engineer role based in the Riyadh Region.
The Structural Engineer will be responsible for performing structural analysis and calculations for buildings and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing structural designs and drawings, coordinating with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders, and using computer-aided design (CAD) tools to develop and refine structural plans.
The role also involves preparing technical reports, specifications, and documentation, reviewing contractor submittals, and supporting site inspections to verify that construction aligns with approved structural designs.
The Structural Engineer will collaborate closely with project teams to solve technical challenges, optimize structural solutions, and support timely project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to building and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and performing accurate structural Calculations to ensure safety, reliability, and code compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and related engineering tools for developing and reviewing detailed structural drawings.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of relevant international and local building codes, standards, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in a professional engineering environment; proficiency in English required, Arabic is an advantage.
- Professional engineering certification or eligibility for registration is preferred, along with experience in the construction sector in the region.
