About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Structural & Marine Infrastructure Designer with 6–8 years of professional experience in the design of marine, coastal, and civil infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering structural designs from concept through detailed design, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with international standards and UAE authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design reinforced concrete and steel structures for marine and infrastructure projects.
Prepare structural analysis, design calculations, technical reports, drawings, and BOQs.
Design marine structures including jetties, quay walls, dolphins, pontoons, retaining walls, revetments, and associated infrastructure.
Design foundations, pump stations, utility chambers, culverts, retaining structures, and other civil infrastructure.
Perform structural analysis and optimize designs for safety, constructability, and cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate with coastal, geotechnical, architectural, MEP, environmental, and BIM teams.
Review drawings and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable design codes.
Support authority submissions and address review comments.
Provide technical support during construction, including reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, and site-related engineering issues.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality engineering documentation in accordance with company QA/QC procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
6–8 years of relevant structural design experience, preferably in marine and infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of reinforced concrete and structural steel design.
Experience with international design codes (Eurocodes, ACI, AISC, BS, etc.).
Experience with UAE authority requirements and approval processes is an advantage.
Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
