Role Description
Full-time, on-site Structural Engineer role based in Doha, Qatar.
Work on structural engineering for commercial and architectural projects.
Engineering Responsibilities
- Perform detailed structural analysis and calculations, and develop and review designs for compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Prepare and check structural drawings using CAD tools; coordinate designs with architects, project managers, and site teams.
- Assess existing structures, propose modifications or reinforcements, and prepare technical reports.
- Support resolution of engineering issues during construction and contribute to project planning, risk assessment, and quality assurance.
- Help deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering and ability to apply engineering principles to commercial and architectural projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and calculations; hands-on experience with CAD tools for structural drawings and models.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of local and international building codes, standards, and construction practices.
- Communication, collaboration, attention to detail, problem-solving, and commitment to safety and quality are required.
- Commercial construction or architectural finishes experience in the Middle East is an advantage.
