Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • 4-9 years of civil engineering experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Experience with concrete and steel design
  • Industrial Mechanical/Electrical Support structures
  • Building shells
  • Transportation structure design
  • Two years of project management of small projects
  • Manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to communicate and effectively participate as part of an engineering team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated team leadership and supervisory skills
  • Demonstrated business development and client management experience
  • Build positive and collaborative relationships
  • $110,000 - $146,000

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple projects and work with staff and sub-consultants
  • Coordinate and manage client requests and needs
  • Apply technical knowledge of structural engineering principles
  • Serve as a technical advisor to other staff
  • Review design and production deliverables, ensuring industry standard of care and compliance with company standards and policies
  • Provide mentoring to junior staff
  • Support proposal and business development efforts
