Role overview
Prepare accurate, detailed structural drawings for building projects in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and applicable codes.
Work with structural engineers, architects, and other disciplines to support project delivery.
Drawing preparation and coordination
- Prepare plans, sections, details, and schedules for concrete and steel structures.
- Develop drawings from structural calculations and engineer instructions; revise them for design changes, comments, and site conditions.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and MEP teams; prepare shop drawings and assist with subcontractor drawing reviews when required.
- Maintain drawing documentation and version control; support engineers during approvals and construction.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum 3–5 years as a Structural Draftsman; Qatar or GCC experience is preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD. Revit experience is an advantage.
- Understand reinforced concrete and steel structural drawings, Qatari building practices, and authority submission requirements.
- Read and interpret structural design calculations and sketches; demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, communication, and coordination skills.

- Include a portfolio or samples of previous structural drawings as a PDF or link.
Pay
- Starting pay is QAR 3,500 per month.

- Full-time role; work location is in person.
