Structural work is mainly private villas and palaces, villa extensions and modifications, and low- to mid-rise residential and commercial buildings, submitted to Dubai authorities.

Working structural engineer who owns projects from concept and authority approval through construction; this is not a management role.
The engineer prepares calculations and drawings, coordinates with architects and MEP teams, stamps and submits designs under their Dubai Municipality approval, and signs off structural works on site.
Structural design and delivery
- Prepare calculations, drawings, reports and technical documents for reinforced concrete and steel structures, including foundations, basements, retaining walls, pools, post-tensioned slabs, canopies and shade structures.
- Design to applicable Dubai Building Code 2021, ACI, BS and Eurocode requirements, including wind and seismic design.
- Use ETABS, SAFE and STAAD Pro for analysis and design; produce drawings in AutoCAD and use Revit Structure where BIM delivery applies.
- Submit and follow up with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, Nakheel and other authorities, responding to comments.
- Assess existing buildings and prepare strengthening, modification and NOC submissions.
- Review shop drawings, bar bending schedules and material submittals; attend inspections, verify works and sign off structural stages.
- Coordinate with project parties, support value engineering and maintain project structural files.
Required qualifications
- Current Dubai Municipality Structural Design Engineer approval at G+4 category minimum; candidates without current approval will not be shortlisted.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, attested for the UAE, and valid Society of Engineers, UAE membership.
- At least 5 years of structural design experience, including at least 3 years in the UAE.
- Proven Dubai villa and low- to mid-rise project work, including personally stamped projects taken through approval.
- Experience in both structural design and site inspection; proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro and AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of Dubai Building Code 2021, ACI, BS and local authority procedures; able to work independently across multiple projects.
Preferred qualifications
- G+12 or unlimited Dubai Municipality approval category.
- Revit Structure and BIM delivery experience; previous Trakhees, DDA or Nakheel submissions.
- Post-tension design using ADAPT or SAFE PT; Arabic for authority coordination.
- Immediate or within-30-days availability is preferred.
