MAT Plastic Industries LLC is a leading manufacturer of premium plunge pools, specializing in steel structures, GRP composite construction, acrylic viewing panels, and complete pool systems.
We are looking for an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our engineering team and support the design, analysis, and development of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of steel plunge pools.
- Design and verify lifting points for transportation and installation.
- Calculate total pool weight, center of gravity (COG), and lifting loads.
- Perform structural calculations for transportation, handling, and installation conditions.
- Analyze hydrostatic water pressure on steel structures and acrylic panels.
- Design and verify acrylic window thickness and structural performance under water pressure.
- Evaluate steel members for bending, deflection, stress, and stability.
- Prepare structural calculation reports and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to ensure practical and manufacturable designs.
- Review and optimize existing designs for safety, efficiency, and cost reduction
