Structural design and analysis
- Perform structural analysis using SAFE, ETABS, and PROKON for slabs, beams, columns, and foundations.
- Design reinforced concrete and steel structures in compliance with international and local codes, including ACI, ASCE, UBC 97, and Dubai Municipality standards.
- Evaluate seismic, wind, and uplift parameters and incorporate them into designs.
Project coordination
- Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to resolve design conflicts and create integrated solutions.
- Review and approve structural drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Lead technical meetings and design workshops with stakeholders.
Documentation and compliance
- Prepare and review technical reports, method statements, and design calculations.
- Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and are approved by relevant authorities, including DDA and Dubai Municipality.
- Support permit applications and respond to authority comments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
- 2–13 years of experience in structural design and site coordination.
- Proficiency in SAFE, ETABS, PROKON, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Deep understanding of international and UAE codes and standards.
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
- UAE experience is mandatory.
Pay
- AED 4,000–13,000 per month.
