Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update Structural BIM models in Revit Structure based on drawings, specifications, engineering requirements, and design standards.
- Provide day-to-day modeling support across multiple projects.
- Coordinate Structural, Architectural, MEP, and other discipline models and perform clash detection.
- Review models and drawings for design discrepancies, coordination issues, and constructability concerns.
- Participate in coordination meetings, help resolve clashes, and update models for revisions and coordination comments.
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards, modeling guidelines, naming conventions, and required LOD.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, BIM Coordinators, and other stakeholders.
- Interpret structural drawings and engineering information; extract drawings, views, schedules, and other information from models.
- Maintain model accuracy and quality, support project milestones and deliverables, and communicate issues early.
Required skills and experience
- 7–10 years of professional experience in Structural BIM Modeling.
- Strong hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit Structure and Navisworks Manage.
- Practical experience in Structural BIM coordination, clash detection, and model review.
- Understanding of structural systems, construction methods, structural components, engineering drawings, details, and specifications.
- Experience in a multidisciplinary BIM environment involving Structural, Architectural, and MEP disciplines.
- Knowledge of BIM modeling standards, coordination workflows, LOD requirements, and model management practices.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and deliver accurate work within deadlines.
