Position description
Build and run Lyte Fiber's sourcing function for engineering and construction materials and services.
Provide a shared service that adds structure, negotiating leverage, and process discipline as the company scales into new markets.

Sourcing and procurement
- Own and support vendor negotiations and pricing for materials and services purchased across the company.
- Design, build, and maintain standardized Master Service Agreement and Statement of Work templates across markets.
- Build and operate a formal RFP process for pricing and buildout sourcing as the company expands market by market.
- Enter and manage purchase orders and provide day-to-day tactical procurement support.
- Partner with Operations, PMO, and requesting departments to structure SOWs and negotiate terms; departments retain final vendor selection authority.
- Support GC-related sourcing as a shared service; primary GC relationship ownership remains with VP Operations and PMO.
- Track vendor performance, contract terms, and expirations to maintain a current and compliant supplier base.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated vendor negotiation experience, ideally across materials and services categories.
- Ability to build processes from scratch, including templates, RFP frameworks, and contracting standards.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and ability to drive a shared-service process without owning the final decision.
- Experience with ERP or procurement systems, such as NetSuite, is preferred.
Physical demands
- Work involves prolonged periods sitting at a desk and using a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
