  • Coordinate FAT/SAT and ensure contractual, technical, safety, and operational requirements are met.
  • Manage supplier performance, due diligence, onboarding, risk mitigation, and corrective actions.
  • Provide project reporting and recommendations and develop cost and total-cost-of-ownership analyses.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; field of study is flexible.
  • Typically 5-7 years of relevant procurement, sourcing, capital equipment, manufacturing, or project experience.
  • Experience purchasing capital equipment or custom engineered solutions in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading RFQs, supplier negotiations, supplier selection, and end-to-end purchasing execution.
  • Strong commercial, supplier-performance, risk-management, communication, and data-analysis capabilities.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday and travel up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with equipment integrators, OEMs, automation suppliers, robotics, sensors, production machinery, or installations.
  • Experience with facility stand-up, production-line expansion, automation implementation, or equipment upgrades.
  • Familiarity with FAT/SAT, SOW creation, BOM management, spare-parts planning, MRO requirements, or change-order management.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 or similar quality-system requirements.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics, or similar systems.

Desired Competencies

High ownership, urgency, execution discipline, negotiation ability, and commercial judgment.

Project and milestone ownership, independent problem solving, and comfort with ambiguity.

Cross-functional influence without direct authority and the ability to manage complex priorities.

Supplier performance and risk management, data-driven decisions, and executive-level communication.
