Key Responsibilities
- Receipt of goods from suppliers, including car parts and consumables.
- Booking parts into stock from Inspection locations and closing works orders.
- Accurate labelling and storage of stock.
- Picking and issuing parts for internal and external works orders.
- Front counter service to internal departments.
- Consumable issuing and stock checks.
- Working in line with departmental KPIs, procedures and reporting structures.
- Maintaining strong Health & Safety standards at all times.
- Actively developing skills and maintaining industry-standard knowledge.
- Supporting a collaborative, accountable and high-performance team culture.
- Undertaking any other duties aligned with the role as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous Stores experience within a manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of parts handling, stores procedures and processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, organised and able to manage own workload.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-moving environment.
- A strong understanding of, and commitment to, Health & Safety.
- A team player who demonstrates professionalism, respect and accountability
