Job Summary:

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing daily store operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, controlling raw materials and scrap, and ensuring proper stock handling procedures. The role requires strong organizational skills, inventory management knowledge, and proficiency in Excel for reporting and stock monitoring.

Salary: 5,000 AED

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning of the store.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, finished goods, and scrap materials.
• Monitor stock movement including receiving, issuing, and storage of materials.
• Perform weekly stock checks and physical inventory verification.
• Ensure proper inventory control and minimize stock discrepancies.
• Maintain records of scrap generation, movement, and disposal.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams for stock availability.
• Prepare stock reports, inventory summaries, and reconciliation reports using Excel.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and housekeeping of materials in the store.
• Track minimum and maximum stock levels and inform management about shortages.
• Verify incoming and outgoing materials against delivery documents.
• Follow company policies related to inventory handling and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in manufacturing or retail chain industry.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and inventory reporting.
• Experience in inventory control, raw material handling, and scrap management.
• Knowledge of storekeeping procedures and stock management systems.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy under pressure
