As the business continues to grow and expand its market presence, it is seeking a dependable Storekeeper to support its warehouse and inventory operations.
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to oversee warehouse operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure efficient stock management.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily distribution activities and ensuring products are stored, handled, and dispatched according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documents
- Store products correctly and maintain stock using FIFO/FEFO inventory principles
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements in the ERP/inventory system
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with periodic stock audits
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment requirements with internal teams
- Track batch numbers and expiry dates, reporting slow-moving or near-expiry inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations
- Manage warehouse documentation including GRNs, delivery notes, stock transfers, and returns
- Safeguard inventory against loss, damage, or theft
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or similar role
- Experience within FMCG, food & beverage, retail, or distribution environments preferred
- Strong understanding of inventory control, stock rotation, and warehouse procedures
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting
- Knowledge of food safety and storage standards is an advantage
- Good communication skills in English
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a warehouse environment
- Currently based in the UAE
- UAE driving licence and/or forklift licence is an advantage
