Job Description
We are hiring a Storekeeper / Warehouse Officer for a steel structure fabrication company.
The role is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and Inspection
- Receive and inspect incoming goods for quantity and quality
- Verify delivery documents and report discrepancies if any Inventory Management
- Maintain and update inventory records in the system
- Organize stock systematically for easy retrieval
- Accurately record and categorize scrap materials in the inventory management system Stock Monitoring and Coordination
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Store In-Charge for replenishment
- Ensure all stock movements are properly documented Physical Counts and Accuracy
- Conduct periodic physical stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy Dispatch Preparation
- Assist in preparing goods for dispatch and ensure timely delivery Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role
- Diploma or Higher Secondary education (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of MS Excel and store management software (e.g., Tally, Comrade, etc.)
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi
- Ability to assist with attendance and payroll-related tasks Benefits:
