Job Description – Store Keeper / Assistant Store Keeper (Site Store)
Experience
- **Store Keeper:**
- Minimum 3 years (in MEP material store)
- **Assistant Store Keeper:**
- 1–2 years (in MEP material handling/support)
Role Overview
Responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and recording MEP materials (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) at the site store, ensuring proper stock control and documentation.
Assistant Store Keeper will support in day-to-day store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect all incoming MEP materials as per purchase orders.
- Store materials properly with labeling and identification.
- Issue materials to site staff against requisitions.
- Maintain stock registers, GRNs, and issue slips (manual/ERP).
- Conduct stock verification and prepare daily/weekly reports.
- Ensure compliance with company and safety procedures.
- Assistant Store Keeper to assist in all store activities under Store Keeper’s supervision.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of MEP materials (pipes, cables, fittings, consumables, etc.).
- Basic computer/MS Excel/inventory software knowledge.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
