We are seeking an experienced Storekeeper to manage and oversee material storage and inventory control for our construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the construction industry, strong inventory management skills, and proficiency in ERP systems and data entry.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials and tools according to delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Issue materials to site teams as per approved material requests.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment.
- Perform data entry of all material transactions into the ERP system accurately and on time.
- Ensure that materials are stored in compliance with company safety and quality standards.
- Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile inventory with ERP/system records.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock reports.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project managers regarding material requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the store area.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UAE and available for immediate joining.
- **Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper in the construction industry.**
- Good knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- **Strong data entry skills with good computer knowledge, including experience using ERP systems and MS Excel.**
- Strong organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and material handling practices.
