Role overview

Store and inventory responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming construction materials, tools, and equipment against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Record stock receipts, issuance, transfers, and returns; maintain accurate inventory documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement and site teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Organize the site store and ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials.
• Issue materials against approved site-team requests and maintain documentation.
• Conduct physical stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, monitor consumption, and report shortages, damage, or excess stock.
• Coordinate deliveries with suppliers and delivery teams; maintain records of tools and equipment issued to workers and subcontractors.
• Follow company procedures and site HSE requirements.

Required experience and skills

• At least 2–3 years of Storekeeper experience in a construction company; UAE experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction materials, tools, equipment, and site-store operations.
• Experience in inventory control, stock management, and material documentation.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, prepare inventory reports, work independently, and coordinate with site teams.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Previous main-contractor experience is an advantage.
