Overview

  • The storekeeper is responsible for the day-to-day operations of material receipt, issue, control and record on site as per related procedures.
  • Recording the received/purchased items from Purchasing Department.
  • Preparing the Cumulative Monthly Stock Balance Report containing the supplied and remaining quantities of each material, as per Company Accounts Codes and Works Items for construction materials, tools, consumables.
  • Keeping Delivery Notes, Invoices, SRTs, MRRS, L.C.s copies for the duration of the project and as required by PM.
  • Recording itemized deliveries in the Material Stock Card as per Company Accounts Codes and Works Items, separately for construction supplies.
  • Recording and signing the daily issued materials registers. Cumulative Monthly Stock Balance.
  • Must ensure that the specified/approved delivered materials are properly labeled, production and expiry dates and shelve life are clearly mentioned and that technical literature available.
  • Controlling excess and unusable materials during the whole project’s period. Storing them in a suitable location ready to be inspected and to proceed with a related stock control periodically.
