The company makes chef-driven products at its Al Quoz Industrial Area production facility and supplies retail, foodservice, and e-commerce channels across the UAE and beyond.
The production store supports kitchen and production teams by keeping raw materials, packaging, and consumables available, correctly stored, tracked, and issued on time.
Role summary
The Store Keeper manages the production store end to end, receiving goods, verifying them against purchase orders and delivery notes, maintaining stock records, and issuing materials to production.
The role requires a clean, labelled, audit-ready store and strict segregation, FIFO rotation, and documentation in a certified allergen-free facility.
Receiving and goods-in
- Receive raw materials, packaging, consumables, equipment, and indirect supplies; verify quantity and condition against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Inspect quality, labelling, allergen declarations, expiry dates, and damage; promptly reject and document non-conforming items.
- Check food-grade raw materials for COAs, halal certificates, and required food-safety documents.
- Immediately record quantities, batch numbers, expiry dates, and locations in the inventory system; raise a GRN for every delivery and forward it for three-way matching.
- Coordinate returns, credits, or replacements of rejected goods with the Purchase Officer.
Storage and issuing
- Organise dry, chilled, frozen, packaging, chemical, and non-food storage areas with clear labelling and no cross-contamination risk.
- Enforce allergen segregation, apply FIFO rotation, flag near-expiry items, and keep the store clean, organised, and pest-free.
- Label bins, shelves, and pallets with item names, batch numbers, and expiry dates.
- Issue materials only against approved requisitions; accurately pick and stage production orders and record issues in real time.
- Notify the Production Manager when requested items are low, out of stock, or near expiry.
Inventory and documentation
- Check fast-moving and high-value bins daily and conduct a full physical stock count at least monthly.
- Reconcile physical counts with system balances, investigate variances, maintain minimum and maximum stock levels, and trigger replenishment requests.
- Manage slow-moving and near-expiry stock in consultation with Production and Finance; support internal and external audits.
- Maintain records of every receipt, issue, return, transfer, adjustment, and disposal; do not adjust system stock without authorisation and supporting documents.
- Organise delivery notes, GRNs, rejection records, and COAs for traceability and audits; produce a daily stock movement summary.
Safety and compliance
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and GMP requirements applicable to the store area.
