About the Role
We are seeking a detail-driven **Store Inspector** to manage inventory, inspection, and storage of aerospace spare parts.
This role is critical in ensuring all materials meet aviation quality standards, are properly documented, and are stored in compliance with regulatory and manufacturer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify incoming aerospace parts against purchase orders, certifications, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with aviation standards (e.g., airworthiness documents, traceability, shelf-life control)
- Process Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and maintain accurate records in ERP systems
- Ensure proper storage of parts (temperature, humidity, ESDS, preservation requirements)
- Monitor shelf-life, batch control, and certification validity of all inventory items
- Manage quarantine, rejected parts, and coordinate with suppliers for resolution
- Handle loan, exchange, and repairable (rotable) parts tracking and control
- Coordinate with sales, procurement, and logistics teams for timely material availability
- Prepare delivery documentation and ensure compliance with dispatch requirements
- Maintain strict inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
- Support internal and external audits (ISO, aviation compliance, customer audits)
- Oversee scrap handling and disposal in line with company procedures
Requirements
✔ Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Aviation, or related field
✔ 3–5+ years of experience in aerospace trading, aviation stores, or spare parts handling
✔ Strong knowledge of aviation documentation (e.g., certificates, traceability, shelf-life)
✔ Experience with ERP systems (Engrave, SAP, or similar)
✔ Familiarity with handling rotables, consumables, and repairable components
✔ Good understanding of storage standards (ESDS, environmental control)
✔ Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset
