Role overview
The Store Assistant supports daily operations, store organization, and accurate, timely order dispatch.
The role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily store and office tasks; pick, pack, and label customer orders accurately.
- Prepare delivery notes and coordinate deliveries with drivers and courier companies.
- Receive stock, compare it with purchase orders, and report damage or shortages.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized store and accurate inventory records; update stock levels in a system or spreadsheet.
- Conduct regular and monthly stock checks and alert management when replenishment is needed.
- Handle film rolls, gift items, and packaging carefully; support sales and production teams with samples, materials, and urgent orders.
Requirements
- At least one year of UAE experience as a store assistant, storekeeper, warehouse helper, or in a similar role.
- Basic stock-control, packing, and dispatch knowledge; basic computer skills with Excel, WhatsApp, and email.
- Organized, careful, attentive to detail, and physically able to lift and move rolls and boxes.
- Basic English communication is required. Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam, or Tamil is an advantage.
- A UAE driving licence is a plus. Immediate joiners are preferred.
Compensation and benefits
- Salary is AED 1,400–1,800 per month, based on experience.
- Company accommodation and transport are provided; overtime and other benefits are offered.
- Visa, medical insurance, and annual leave are provided as per UAE Labour Law.
Workplace and employment
- Full-time role with work performed in person.
