Stockroom Attendant

Reporting to the Stockroom/MRO Supervisor, the Stockroom Assistant will support Stockroom and Production control functions as well as provide customer support to Linamar employees and suppliers.

• Receive deliveries and put stockroom items away in the proper location.
• Verify packing slip for the amount shipped.
• Conduct cycle counting, stockroom transactions utilizing the Plex system, and check e-mail daily.
• Maintain shipping dock cleanliness.
• Drive mobile equipment to stage items and put them away.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Maintain area cleanliness.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• 2+ years of stockroom experience.
• Ability to complete required paperwork.
• Possess problem solving abilities.
• Possess mechanical aptitude and ability to understand the use of manufacturing inventory items.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to obtain mobile equipment certification.
• Possess strong organizational skills.
• Ability to utilize a computer in a Windows environment.
