Supervises the stewarding team and hotel back-of-house operations to support memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Oversee utility stewards, dishwashers, and temporary staff handling utensils and serviceware for restaurant and banquet operations.
- Supervise cleaning and organization of back-of-house spaces to maintain sanitation and hygiene.
- Manage inventory levels, equipment storage and distribution, and timely delivery of food and equipment for functions.
- Support team oversight, shift scheduling, coaching, development, evaluations, and recognition.
- Track breakage and loss, update operating manuals, and assist with monthly inventories and cost-control improvements.
- Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and restaurant teams and assist team members as needed.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
Minimum qualifications
- Middle school diploma equivalent or above.
- At least 3 years of work experience in a five-star category hotel.
- At least 2 years as a Stewarding Team Leader in an international brand hotel.
- Knowledge of HACCP.
