Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a sterilization Technician / Specialist.
The role involves cleaning, decontaminating, sterilizing, and preparing dental instruments, while ensuring strict adherence to infection control standards.
The candidate will also support sterilization workflows, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to quality and patient safety initiatives within the clinic.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sterilization
- Valid SCFHS license or eligibility for licensing
- Strong knowledge of decontamination and sterilization protocols
- Solid understanding of infection control principles and practices
- Familiarity with required documentation and compliance records in CSSD
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare accreditation processes (e.g., CBAHI, JCI)
- Good understanding of sterilization workflow auditing and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with documentation required for accreditation surveys and audits
- Previous involvement in facility accreditation or inspection readiness
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and patient safety
