We are currently recruiting for a Sterile Services Technician vacancy.

Working Pattern
12 weeks of full-time training on Monday-Friday at 8:00-16:00.
Then, move to full-time permanent shift, 06:00-14:00 Monday - Sunday (5 days a week) includes weekends
What'S Involved
- Ensuring the effective preparation of sterile consumables (dressings, linen, instruments, and equipment) by the process of decontamination, inspection assembly and packing within predefined quality standards.
- Rigorously checking, washing, laying up and packing sets of theatre instruments to meet contract specifications within predefined quality standards.
- Safely operating and monitoring machines and equipment (washer/disinfectors, ultrasonic and sterilisers) effectively.
- Ensuring that repairs and missing instruments or equipment are recorded and logged on the Tracking and Traceability computer system (SynergyTrak).
- Ensuring that repaired instruments or equipment are returned to stock or the appropriate coded sets or the Trust’s appointed person.

+ An annual salary of £25,272 plus a 5% performance bonus, and generous shift allowances if you work overtime/unsociable hours!
Plus, a higher cost of living allowance if you work in London.

Required Experience
- Educated to a good general standard with demonstrable verbal and numerical abilities.
- Basic end user IT skills to operate track and traceability IT system.
