Sterile Processing Technician position at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.
Full-time evening opportunity; the department will train candidates.
Responsibilities
- Clean, inspect, and sterilize surgical instruments supporting operating rooms and outpatient practices.
- Provide high-quality instrumentation for patients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- CRCST required within one year of successfully completing the introductory period; materials will be provided.
- More than one year of sterile processing experience or equivalent preferred.
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn are valued.
Schedule
- Evening shift, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
- Rotating weekends after fully trained; scheduled 40 hours weekly.
Workplace
- Onsite at 789 Central Avenue.
Compensation
- Pay range is $20.99 to $29.99 per hour.
Benefits
- Benefits begin on the first day of employment.
- Benefits include six weeks of paid time off in the first year, including 10 paid holidays, and a choice of medical plans.
- Tuition reimbursement is available up to $5,250 per year, including certification renewal.
