The Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician II independently performs sterile and hazardous drug batch compounding within a 503B outsourcing facility.

This role executes complex aseptic operations, ensures batch documentation accuracy, and supports environmental monitoring and deviation investigations under the direction of the Compounding Pharmacist

• Independently compound sterile and hazardous drug batches per approved batch records
• Handle HD APIs and finished formulations in compliance with USP
• Verify materials, calculations, and batch setup prior to compounding
• Complete batch records with full GDP compliance and inspection readiness
• Participate in and support environmental monitoring, investigations, and corrective actions
• Identify and escalate deviations, EM excursions, or process risks
• Support onboarding and hands-on training of Technician I staff
• Maintain aseptic technique and compliance during FDA and internal audits
• Support equipment cleaning, sanitization, and room readiness
