Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Steel Fixer role located in Dubai.
The Steel Fixer will be responsible for assembling and installing steel reinforcement for construction projects.
Daily tasks include reading and interpreting construction blueprints, cutting and bending steel bars, and securing them in place using tools such as wires and fasteners.
The role requires adherence to safety standards, collaboration with other construction team members, and ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and timelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and construction plans
- Experience in measuring, cutting, bending, and fixing steel bars or mesh for concrete reinforcement
- Familiarity with the tools and techniques used in steel fixing, including tying and welding
- Understanding of construction safety protocols and ability to adhere to them
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging construction environments
- Problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset
- A certificate or vocational training in construction or steel fixing is desirable
- Relevant work experience in steel fixing on large construction projects is a plus
