Overview

Tasks

• Commit to implementing the programs and schedules of price surveys for all targeted projects, in accordance with the approved laws, regulations and directives, while following up on all assigned daily tasks.
• Collecting and entering price data from various field/organizational/record sources, ensuring its accuracy and completeness, and entering it into the statistical systems in accordance with the approved action plans.
• Collecting the shadow sample of the prices of goods, services and data sources periodically in accordance with the approved statistical controls and methodologies.
• Auditing and analyzing field /organizational /record data, monitoring price changes and their quality, and documenting them in statistical systems according to the requirements of work and directives.
• Comply with all field work directives, conformity rules and statistical classifications of price surveys , as directed.
• Propose amendments to statistical forms and forms for data collection, based on field experience and observations from entities, target groups, supervisors, and researchers.
• Prepare periodic reports on the field and office work completed for the project manager, indicating the percentage of completion, obstacles and difficulties faced by the price surveys and the measures taken to address them.
• Providing official correspondence to the target parties in price projects , communicating and coordinating with them to ensure the effective implementation of price surveys.
• Contribute to providing field support to price survey researchers through the exchange of experiences, and contribute to solving problems that may face them, in coordination with the direct supervisor
• Prepare the requirements of price surveys, including samples, locate sales outlets, prepare statistical forms available in the systems, and other necessary tools to ensure efficient and effective execution of tasks.
• Follow up on the readiness and operation of statistical systems related to the nature of work, and ensure their compatibility with directives and operational needs.
• Receiving and saving work supplies such as tablets, and ensuring that they are organized and maintained during and after field operations.
• Attend the meetings of the task forces specialized in price surveys as assigned, and follow up on the implementation of the decisions and recommendations issued by them.
• Participate in training sessions on new methodologies, and apply the necessary ones within the work environment with the aim of developing performance and raising the efficiency of implementation.
• Perform any other tasks related to the nature of the work as assigned.
