We are seeking a skilled Static Technician II to handle the independent maintenance and troubleshooting of critical fixed assets.
You will be responsible for diagnosing equipment issues, executing complex repairs, and ensuring all work meets regulatory and safety codes.
As a Level II technician, you will work with minimal supervision and may occasionally lead small teams or mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and troubleshoot heat exchangers, boilers, and pressure vessels to identify leaks or structural wear.
- Execute advanced repairs, including gasket replacements, valve overhauls, and bolt tensioning.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Coordinate with the inspection team to ensure equipment meets API or ASME standards.
- Provide guidance and "on-the-job" training to Static Technician I team members.
Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Static Technician or in a related industrial maintenance field.
- Proven ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
- Certification in specialized areas (e.g., API 510/570, advanced welding, or rigging) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
