Stakeholder Interface Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Map and maintain stakeholder registers, contact details, terms of reference, MoUs, and agreements.
• Act as primary external contact, understand stakeholder needs and issues, and manage expectations.
• Establish and monitor stakeholder and third-party interface protocols.
• Engage stakeholders affected by project works, maintain relationships, address concerns, and report to RCRC.
• Develop an Interface Management Plan for identifying, developing, and agreeing interfaces with third parties.
• Manage interfaces and secure project approvals and permits; track authority approvals, escalate and expedite issues, resolve problems, and mitigate risks.
• Handle client and stakeholder communications on authority issues.
• Maintain standardized documents and regular management and stakeholder reports on key issues, risks, resolutions, and performance.
• Issue monthly stakeholder reports and support Procurement and Contracts.
• Coordinate interface works and information-sharing across teams, ensuring issues are addressed and interventions implemented.
• Follow company quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies and procedures.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, or a degree from an accredited university.
• At least 10 years of experience in strategic planning or project management.
• Experience in major real-estate development and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater master plans.
• Experience developing agreements and MoUs with strategic partners.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; excellent written and spoken Arabic and English.
