Staff Software Engineer/ Solution Architect

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and product stakeholders to gather requirements, design end-to-end solutions, and break initiatives into user stories and technical deliverables.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, maintainable software, APIs, services, integrations, data pipelines, processing frameworks, and supporting infrastructure.
• Contribute to software development, code reviews, design discussions, and architecture reviews; align decisions with security, compliance, performance, and operations.
• Integrate and optimize data across internal and external systems, including SaaS applications; collaborate on data quality, availability, and AI/ML deployment.
• Build and deploy AI applications using LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI frameworks, and orchestration patterns; use prompt engineering to improve solution quality and reliability.
• Champion engineering practices, coding standards, testing strategies, and quality metrics; evaluate technologies to improve system scalability, performance, maintainability, and reliability.
• Communicate technical solutions, risks, and recommendations; provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and resolve complex challenges.

Requirements and skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in full-stack software development, solution design, data engineering, and AI/ML implementation.
• Strong hands-on software engineering background and experience designing and developing enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience with solution design, architecture reviews, system design discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Advanced Python and Java proficiency, with experience building APIs, services, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience implementing and deploying generative AI solutions in production.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG architectures, Agentic AI, prompt engineering, MCP, A2A, and modern AI applications.
