Staff Software Engineer-Salesforce

Role Overview

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and implement secure, scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, and configuration tools.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and Salesforce solution designs.
• Build integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
• Develop serverless solutions with AWS Lambda and other cloud-native services.
• Build intelligent automation with Python, LangChain, LangGraph, Amazon Bedrock, and related AI frameworks.
• Design conversational workflows, internal copilots, and AI agents for employee productivity and customer support operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide estimates and feasibility assessments.
• Develop features across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud Console, Experience Cloud, and related Salesforce environments.
• Own delivery from discovery through deployment and maintain documentation.
• Create and execute unit, integration, functional, and automation tests.
• Support production deployments and perform root-cause analysis.
• Mentor engineers and act as Delivery Lead for assigned projects.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development using Apex, process automation tools, and Lightning Web Components.
• 7+ years of software development experience using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Communities.
• Strong Python experience for automation, integrations, and AI or machine-learning workflows.
• Experience designing AWS cloud-native solutions using services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, or Step Functions.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI or LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Amazon Bedrock.
• Familiarity with source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to independently deliver full-lifecycle Salesforce projects.
• Deep understanding of secure solutions that protect sensitive data.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Extra Credit

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II and Service Cloud Consultant are preferred.
• Experience with Einstein Bots, Agentforce, predictive analytics, or other AI-powered Salesforce tools is preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools and CI/CD practices is preferred.
• Knowledge of multi-agent orchestration, prompt engineering, vector databases, RAG, or AI governance is preferred.
• Experience improving customer-service support workflows and automation is preferred.
• Experience in high-growth, fast-paced technology companies is preferred.
