Role Overview
ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Full Stack Developer to work across user interfaces, backend systems, and AI-driven engineering.
The role focuses on architecting scalable web technology, improving developer experience, and raising engineering standards.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement AI-powered application-development tools.
- Build web technology stacks for authentication, event tracking, application platforms, and design systems.
- Drive architecture and engineering standards across the team and division.
- Develop and maintain Kubernetes-based microservices.
- Collaborate with product, ML, and engineering teams to improve developer experience and customer adoption.
- Integrate AI tools, automation, and insights into engineering workflows and decision-making.
- Expand product reach while maintaining engineering quality and operate with broad ownership.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience building scalable, high-quality applications.
- Expertise in Java, JavaScript, and React, Angular, or Lit.
- Hands-on proficiency with AI development tools such as Copilot, Claude, or similar.
- Strong UI design, usability, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility knowledge.
- Experience with REST, JSON, AJAX, relational databases, event-driven architectures, and stateless architectures.
- Experience with functional programming and abstract data types.
- Experience driving architecture and engineering standards at team or division level.
- Strong critical thinking, AI integration experience, collaboration skills, and product sense.
- BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Backend Java development experience is an added advantage.
- ServiceNow platform certification or development experience is a strong added advantage.
