The Staff Software Engineer will join the R&D team and focus on Linux build systems, toolchains, and C++.

The position reports to the Team Lead, Software Development and operates in a modern agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve Linux-based build systems and toolchains.
- Keep the toolchain up to date while supporting development teams.
- Maintain the build process in a team of multi-platform specialists.
- Identify bottlenecks and reduce build times to improve engineering efficiency.
- Contribute to software stability and performance across a variety of systems.
- Stay current with relevant technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- University or college degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related subject.
- At least 10 years of experience in Linux software engineering.
- Strong C++ development background with knowledge of Python and Groovy.
- Hands-on experience with CMake and other build systems.
- Understanding of GCC or Clang, build pipelines, Ninja, and Autotools.
- Familiarity with Conan and experience with Git.
- Familiarity with Bitbucket or GitLab code review processes is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an independent, structured working style.
- Fluent English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
